Intentionally Becoming Incontinent

Many folks in the ABDL ( Adult Baby / Diaper Lover ) community fantasize about becoming incontinent, and some attempt to do so, sometimes doing potentially life threatening things to themselves.

I'm medically incontinent as a result of a disease that causes slow nerve degeneration. I do not understand why someone would risk their own life just so they have to wear diapers all the time. They are very inconvenient, and I had to radically change my life to accommodate.

From what I have been reading over the years, here are some of the ways folks intentionally make themselves incontinent. Some of these methods are very risky and potentially life threatening.

1: Muscle Atrophy - folks suppress the 'clinching reflex' while urinating and, over time, weaken the muscles that control the bladder. They also force themselves to urinate at the slightest 'urge' . From what has been reported, after a couple years, the person ends up with a shrunken bladder, severe overactive bladder, and urge incontinence.

2: Drugs - there are many medications that cause incontinence. 2 of the more popular choices are alpha blockers and muscle relaxants. These drugs do cause incontinence, and over time, some nasty side effects.

3: Self Injury - the goal is to damage the inner bladder sphincter, causing it to fail. Some of the ways I have read foks do this is absolutely insane. First method is to insert something long and hard in the butt and aim it sideways. The goal is to ram it hard into the lower bladder area. Do I really have to say this is incredibly stupid? Second method is to attempt to cause blunt force trauma (ie: straddle injury) to part of the nerve bundle (Sciatic Nerve) that travels just under the back of the right hip close to the skin. The third method is also insane. Buying small vinyl tubing from the hardware store, inserting it like a catheter, and ramming it very hard through the inner bladder sphincter several times. Due to the tubing being much harder than the material medical catheters are made from, it can rip open the sphincter and/or damage sensitive nerve endings .

4: Holding An Overly Full Bladder - holding an overly full bladder for long periods of time stretch out the bladder muscles and, over time, weaken them causing dribbling, stress incontinence, and unintentional voiding. All a person has to do is drink a very large quantity of water, and hold their pee, no matter how much it hurts. If the person can hold it long enough,  they will end up with overflow incontinence and bladder spasms. Doing this enough times ( without rupturing the bladder or damaging the kidneys ) will cause incontinence.
