It's Now Fashionable To Live In 3rd World Housing !

It is interesting what financially well-off folks will do to feel better about themselves sometimes. Many folks in the United States and Europe are paying a lot of money to live in 'tiny house villages' that simulate living arrangements in 3rd world countries.

Some claim that living in a house that is made out of recycled lumber, former trash, and sometimes mud adobe is an 'ecologically sound practice'. From what I found in my research for this post, most folks abandoned the practice relatively quickly after realizing that living with no running water, and minimum ( or no ) electricity makes terrible living conditions.

I really don't care if someone wants to spend $80,000 - $120,000 to own a shack in a shanty town, but acting like they are morally superior for living in a simulated slum, REALLY annoys me !
