National Geographic In Financial Trouble

In the first time in it's history, National Geographic ( NatGeo) announced plans to sell off some of it's historical photographs and illustrations from it's archives.
This is an indication that the publisher may be having financial difficulty, and is selling off assets  to raise some money.
If they continue to sell off artifacts and assets, I suspect they will soon collapse.

  1. I think they'll fetch more than 3 million. Also 3 million is a drop in the bucket and wont help for very long if they are facing bankruptcy.
